Why Believe?
| … I f you acknowledge and confess with your lips that
Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adheres to, trust
in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes (adhere
to, trust in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared
righteous, acceptable to God) , and with the mouth he confesses
(declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms
(his) salvation (Rom. 10:9–10). |
Believing corrects our relationship with God. By
believing and confessing, you will be saved. You
position yourself to be declared the righteous of God,
and also acceptable to God. Believing also confirms
your own salvation in Christ.
Why believe? To position yourself in the Body of
Christ and the Family of God. When you believe, you
open up the arms of God to receive all the blessings
that belong to you. Believing positions you to start
hearing from your Heavenly Father on a daily basis.
Why believe? You position yourself to receive the
blessings of Abraham upon your life, and also the lives
of your loved ones. Why believe? It takes you out of the kingdom of
darkness and plants you in the Kingdom of God.
Believing starts you on the road to righteousness.
Believing will help you arrive at a recognition and
knowledge of the truth.
Why believe? You will recognize that you have been
going the wrong way for years. Everyone wants to go
the right way in life. Believing will cause you to recognize
that abundant life is the right way to go. You will
shoot for the higher life in Christ Jesus, and not the
lower life in Satan. Believing will cause you to desire
God’s will in thought, purpose, and action.
Why believe? You are made in the image of God
and not in the image of Satan. God is your real
Father—Satan is a phony.
Why believe? With believing comes victory in every
area of your life.
Why believe? So you may be proficient, and thoroughly
equipped for every good work.
Why believe? Because God’s Word is alive and
full of power that brings eternal blessings to you.
Why believe? You would
be a fool not to believe the Word of God. Think about this: Think
of any person
who is born again. WHAT changed that person? WHO
changed that person? I know you are saying I know the
answer, but do you TRULY know? This book is about believing, believing,
believing. If we asked two people those questions, you would get
two different answers, but each of us who is born again
experienced the same surgery of the heart.
